Meet Our Team - Genniene Whelan - Vocational Tutor Manager

Genniene brings more than 25 years of experience working across children’s homes and adult services. Throughout her career, her passion has always been clear: making sure that the staff caring for others have the right skills, confidence, and support to deliver the very best standards of care. That commitment to raising quality and supporting people is what inspired her to move into tutoring.

At PTL, Genniene now leads our team of vocational tutors. She offers daily support - whether that’s helping tutors with learners, working directly with employers, or simply making sure her team’s wellbeing is always prioritised. Alongside her leadership role, she continues to teach, delivering qualifications in both adult and children’s services.
